This client is a global organization with over 600 devices across their US and Canadian wireless accounts. The organization's users were consuming large amounts of data, resulting in high monthly bills. The client’s internal solution was to manually send usage alerts to employees to encourage them to manage their data usage, but the process was time-consuming and error-prone.
Our team at Vatic Outsourcing implemented a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) workflow to automate the telecom usage monitoring process for the client. We built an automation that sends customized usage alerts to each employee with a wireless device on their account. The robot sends hundreds of emails each month, each tailored to a specific person. The emails contain detailed usage charges for the employee's phone number and device, as well as data consumption tips to help them manage their usage.
